MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

Duties/Responsibilities:

*Provide daily technical support to operative personnel and guidance to ensure efficient manufacturing processes and troubleshooting.

*Lead New Product Introduction processses by structuring product BOMs and associated labor standards.

*Document and update labor time standards and manufacturing Work Instructions.

*Streamline new and existing products using Value Stream Mapping and lay out adaptations for effective workflow.

*Drive improvements through Efficiency Metrics focused on scrap and labor reduction.

*Conduct mold design review meetings with product engineers, mold makers, mold designers as they relate to Design for Manufacture (DFM).

*Lead team efforts working with cross functional teams to reduce costs, improve quality and increase efficiency.

*Provide training to operative personnel and lead Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Processes.

*Perform other related duties as assigned by managment.

 

Required Qualifications:

 -Age: 22 a 30 years old.

-Education: IIA, IMF, IME, IMA or Materials Engineer

-Experience: at least 3 years in Manufacturing position.

-Fluent English (80%)

Knowledge:

-Software: Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, Autocad, Minitab, Microsoft Office.

-Experience and familiarity with resource planning tools (ERP).

-Knowledgeable in lean tools, DMAIC, A3, Control Plan.
