Job Description

- Direct and coordinate the personnel of the Continental tax Department in Mexico to fulfill all fiscal and legal obligations of the Continental Mexican legal entities.

- Provide guidance and advise on tax planning, tax accounting, transfer pricing, tax issues, tax rules, tax policies.

Direct and coordinate tax strategies, corporate tax and legal restructuring, and special projects with tax, legal and financial implications.

- Direct and coordinate the tax audits, tax assessments issued by Mexican Tax Authorities.

- Review and validate the correct calculations of the tax package for IFRS's effects (GTC Tool).

- Review Contracts, Shareholders Minutes meetings, Shareholders Dividend payments, transfer of shares or ownership of Shareholders, and corporate tax and legal restructuring projects.

 

-Accountant Degree, With Tax Degree

-Experience in Taxes at least 15 years

-Experience in domestic and Foreign Trades 5 years, expert in Maquila/ IMMEX Industry, Deferred Taxes, expert in Mergers, spin off, Corporate Restructures

-Experience dealing with Mexican Tax Authorities, experience with Audits, VAT Refunds, Law Suits, Legal Court process, and working with External Auditors (KPMG, E&Y, Deloitte, PWC)

-Experience working with different areas, understand the automotive business (Logistic, Customs, Controllers),

-Experience managing people

-Professional intercultural experience, working with Tax colleages abroad

-Proficient in English (advanced level)
